10 days of Yoga in Paradise:
Movement, Breath, Awareness Retreat

Remove yourself from familiar surroundings, busy schedules, and daily responsibilities for a special and highly experiential gentle, yet challenging yoga workshop in the lush tropical coastal village of Hana, Maui.

Break Habits, Find Solitude

This yoga retreat allows participants to break through the accumulated habits of distraction that perpetuate our lives, while affording the space and solitude for the development of an appropriate daily classic practice. The workshop will be an immersion into classic yoga fundamentals including classic postures, asana adaptation, chanting, meditation, yoga theapy, mantra japa to focus the mind, pranayama, intensive yoga study, and mentoring your own practice and individual needs.

Two Daily Classes

Enjoy attending two classes each day. Each class provides valuable information, experiential learning, and in-depth discussions. You will learn how to achieve a more peaceful mind through a consistent and dedicated classic yoga practice.

DAILY:
Morning Asana, Pranayama & Mantra Japa 8am - 10am
Evening Pranayama, Vedic Chant & Meditation 5:30pm - 6:30pm

Private Yoga Consultation

For a small fee, participants can also get a private consultation with Monique and an individualized custom practice that they can take home and do on their own.

Your Stay In Hana

Our hostess for the week-long retreat is Josie Diego, who graciously offers her traditional Hawaiian-style rentals on five private acres with lush fruit trees. Accommodations range from double to single occupancy with private bath. Complimentary breakfast of fresh fruit, granola, and assorted teas will be provided daily.

There will be time each day to break away and enjoy the serenity of all Hana has to offer: Hana Bay, the secret red sand beach, Wai'anapanapa State Park, Seven Sacred Pools, and Homoa Beach, which are all but a short drive from the retreat location.

Traditional Hawaiian massage therapies are available from the healers at Luana Spa. This one-of-a-kind experience takes place in a traditional Hawaiian hale overlooking Hana Bay.

Hana Town

Tourists from all over the world retreat to the picturesque and secluded village of Hana for rest & rejuvenation. Unspoiled, serene and mystical, Hana is truly the last undeveloped tropical paradise on Maui. Spectacular waterfalls, the rugged Hana shoreline, and some of the best beaches on the island (including black, white & red sand), only begin to describe the journey that awaits you.

Hana is located 52 miles east of the Kahului Airport, a beautiful 2-3 hour drive depending on how often you stop for views along the legendary and breathtaking Hana Highway.

Retreat Fees

10 days/9 nights- Accomodations:

Twin bed/dormitory-style – $850
Queen bed/private room – $990
King bed/private room – $1050

Fee includes accomodations, two yoga classes per day, and complimentary daily breakfast. Air travel and other meals are not included. Van transport available. Kitchens on site for cooking & enjoying meals. Shopping and food prep can be done individually or as a group.
